I don't remember is this was in history or not, but there was a link or url that started with a single letter, like a or r, and then had a long nameor word that did not make any sense to anythng (where it was anyway) and ended with a com)dot com)
I was having sometype of problem while still in my learning curve so I can't save for certain where is was just as I don't know for sure the name it was.
However, not the Wi-Fi side of the X will not work at all. just give me a Web site not available screen,(Generiic with the little green android dude hanging upside down from the left corner) Work fine from the 3G.
I might add here that I had gone through customer service hell with verizon AND motorola and they sent sent me some POS "LIKE NEW REPLACEMENT BUT OOOOH BOY... CERTIFIED...) and it won't even give me a 3g connection now either... let alone a Wi-Fi. I have not activated it yet so it that is the issue someone email or pm my dimb **bleep** to get past that.
BUT>>>>>>>>>>>>>> if the url/link that I delelted that I first mentioned could have been what cause my Wi-Fi problem in the first place will some one plese let me know an what the name of that is/wasagain please.
I did NOT do the Reset to my original phone but am ready to but thought I would try the Rofums first. I usually don't have much luck in these, maybe this will be different. So if anyone can help I would appreciate it. I don't need the dumb **bleep** flames though I will probably get some anyway..
thanks...

We dont know if you deleted something or not. We weren't there.
You have 2 choices - do the factory restore or get another model of phone.
I'm gonna ask the insensitive question...is English your second language? Because if that is the case, people are more likely to be sensitive to your plight and willing to help than if English IS your first language and....GEEZ.....Geri O

First thing, you do not see any 3g connectivity until you actually activate the phone.... so the replacement phone that you got will not show any 3g until you go through the activation process.
Second, are you sure that you have connectivity to a WiFi router or Access Point? You can check by going into settings ->Wireless and Networks->Wi-Fi settings. That will show if you have connectivity to a router or not. If you do not have connectivity or told the wireless to connect to a network, then WiFi will not work.
Third, I understand that you are on a learning curve, but why would you be deleting something from your phone if you didnt know what you are deleting? Also, there is no one that would be able to tell you what you may/might/might not have deleted.....

WOW, where to start. I don't really know what your question is and I've read your post about 3 or 4 times. 1st things first, you are not going to get any 3G services on an unactivated phone.
Secondly, this is a real stretch here but something is telling me I need to say it: You cannot use WIFI unless you have a wireless router that is connected to the internet, or use a wifi hotspot at a business, or library etc. Then you must setup your phone's wifi connection with the information for your own wifi or hotspot's wifi.
Now, as for your title; There is no way any of us can tell you if you deleted something that you should not have. Chances are you didn't. That little green droid fella at the bottom of the screen is hanging out there waiting for you to activate the phone.
