Two separate issues, two separate phones

My first Droid, within 9 months, became defective.  It would scroll on it's own.  I was sent a replacement.  This Droid lasted 37 days.  The screen is black.  I've been offered the option to upgrade the other phone on my account, and sign another two year agreement.  I would have accepted another phone that is comparable of another brand.  I was not offered such a deal, nor have I been give any sort of credit on my account for being without the phone  Verizon has sold to me.

As I think back, I had bought a Motorola Razor, which failed.

I bought a Motorola Razor2, screen failed.

I bought a Motorola Blur, failed after three months.

And now, two Droids.

My point is this: Motorola is a shoddy brand.  Also, Verizon doesn't care to help their customers out, just a little for the headaches they must endure regarding the shoddy products they pass on to us comsumers.  A multi-billion dollar company won't make good for their loyal customers.

I simply do not want another Motorola phone, and I do not want to resign another two year agreement with this company.  I just want a phone that does what it says it does, that works and for Verizon to offer something other than those options.

How is the phone scrolling on its own and the screen going dark "operator error?"

Dirt on the screen. Maybe a scratch on the screen.

Screen going dark could've been pushing the slide out too hard.

Hope you had insurance.
