I never used to have this problem, but now when I type on the flip out keyboard, it will enter double or triple letters. For example, say I was typing the word "down", it will type "dooown." So frustrating!!!!!

Thanks for the information AnakinVader. You can also try changing the text input settings.
To change your text entry settings and see the dictionary of terms you’ve used, from the home screen, touch Menu > Settings > Language & keyboard.
Text input settings directions below:
Menu > Settings > Language & keyboard
• To edit your dictionary, touch User dictionary.
• To change the language and the style for your touchscreen keyboard, touch Select language.
• To change input method and settings, touch Swype or Multi-touch keyboard
To select an input method, touch and hold a text entry area on the screen to open the Edit text menu. Touch
Input method, then touch the method you want.

Turns out it's an issue with the phone. There is nothing that can be done to fix the problem. Tech support tried a couple troubleshooting methods, but still didn't fix the issue. If you're having this problem, visit a store that has tech support and you sould get a replacement. They don't make the Droid2, it's now the Droid2 Global, so you get a little upgrade. Plus, the keys on the flip out keyboard are softer. I have small hands, so it's easier to type and I don't get a cramp.
