My son is on his second Droid X and his new issue is the inability to either make or receive calls from AT&T. Incoming calls will begin to ring but stop almost immediately. Outgoing calls are dropped before they can be completed. After a call to tech support and some work on their end they were able to recreate this issue. They did not provide any work arounds nor did they offer to replace the phone

This began to happen with Verizon numbers now. Another call to tech support to follow up on the issue and their solution was to reset the phone to factory settings. This has apparently worked

What did they say when you asked them for a replacement phone?

They said it was a network issue between Verizon and AT&T. Since they were able to replicate the issue they felt a replacement phone would not necessarily solve the issue
