I unable to send emails from my droid phone using my road runner POP accounts. Does anyone know why this would be? I can receive all messages. I am finding sending from my work email exchange hooked up but do not want to use it for personal emails.

Make sure it has the right SMTP server name. In the outgoing server settings on the phone, check the box for Require sign-in and type in your full username and password (i.e. username@cfl.rr.com). I didn't type in the domain @xxx.rr.com the first time and it didn't work.

I had a similar problem--discovered that Droid's "automatic" installation of my pop3 account had the wrong pop3 server and smtp server info. Check those out first.
