Unknown Ringtone in 2.2

Anyone else expiriencing a loss of ringtones stored on th SD card? After a time, my contact and alert tones revert to the default and if I look at the settings for each, it shows "Unknown Ringtone". After I reboot, the tones are recognized again. I have done the factroy reset as detailed here, and it s still an issue.

Hello DarenRogers. I have read your post and understand your concern with your SD card and the unknown ringtones. If you have done the factory reset and still have the same issue you may want to try doing a hard reset on your device. Here are the steps to a hard reset:

From the home screen, select Applications.
Select Settings.
Select Privacy.
Select Factory data reset.
Select Reset phone.
If presented, enter the current passcode or draw the unlock pattern.
Select Erase everything.

This usually happens when you use the Mass Storage feature, since the phone can not access files on SD Card while you are using it through the pc, the ringer becomes unavailable to the notification app, a restart always resolves this as you reported.
