I am new to this forum and the Droid, got it the day it came out and still trying to figure things out... switched from the Voyager, which I loved but it was the original and starting to go. I noticed yesterday there was an update, so I checked download or okay and it started the process, well its still going... stuck obviously. Have removed the battery, turned it on and off, same thing, in my notifications says "loading data, please wait". It did change my lock screen and the time and font (which is awful). I liked that about the Voyager, you could change the style of the date/time and the font. Also, having major issues with my email downloads, I do not use the gmail because I already had long established home and business emails through att.net. After having tech support set up my email accts, still having issues, it keeps downloading the same emails over and over even after I have deleted (from the phone) There are also several emails that are "frozen" and won't let me delete. Facebook is another issue, the live feed doesn't show the most recent posts and you can't get to your private messages or see pictures. Another problem, when on the internet on many sites the pictures don't show and you can't check out or pay bills. There are clearly some issues with this phone, whenever I talk to Verizon techs they swear this is the perfect phone and they haven't heard of any major issues. I have always had Verizon from as far back as I can remember... I really hesitated changing phones, I really need my phone to be reliable and do what I need it to do, I do NOT want to reset this phone. Any HELP is appreciated. Thanks!
