Depends on the type of interfaces that your radio has, if you have a 3.5 input jack you can get a cable from Radio Shack and plug from phones headphone jack to input or if you have a bluetooth in the radio you can pair it with the radio.... If you dont have any of these then the option is to use a RF transmitter to play through the radio stations but the sound quality isnt very reliable.

Thread is solved, but here's another 2 cents. If not for the OP, then maybe somebody else.
My previous vehicle did not have bluetooth. I mounted my phone dock and used my Droid X's bluetooth and bluetooth headphones in that vehicle. That incorporated music, messaging (not while driving, of course), GPS and phone functions all through my headphones.
I purchased a new vehicle and discovered that, although it had bluetooth, as wildman stated, the sound quality for music is sub-par.
It does, however, have a usb port. So, I purchased a small flash memory stick (to avoid the long indexing times it takes my GM stereo to read the large SD card on my Droid X) and loaded my music on it.
This system was "designed" for use with an ipod. Something that disgusts me almost as much as GM taking tax payer money when Ford didn't, but Ford doesn't make Camaros, so I look the other way.
I mounted my phone car dock and my phone is free to use for messaging, phone and GPS, via bluetooth through the Droid X or through the car stereo.
So, depending on your vehicle's stereo system, sometimes it gets tricky.

This is very helpful, as my car does not have bluetooth either. I've been using my iPod (with the USB port as you mentioned ) but have been looking into just using my phone. It's very annoying to have to carry around the phone and the iPod (and NO I will not get an iPhone
) So thanks for this!
