I installed the V Cast media manager tonight, after the download and performing the installation both SpyBot and McAfee reported that verizon.exe was known malicious software and recommended that I NOT run the installation. I threw caution to the wind and ran the installation. After is was installed I got the message again, Known Malicious software. I assumed verizon was safe and finished the installation. When I tried to run it all I got was the Adobe Flash being installed, repeatedly, over and over. SO I removed the media manager and repeated the download and installation. Same problem. I already have flash so this is not a good program to download.
Anyone else encounter this?
t's not malicious; however, it will not, I repeat, will not run on any 64 bit system. All the laptops that I am aware of run on the 64 bit system. So, if you tried installing it on a laptop, forget it.
Mortb is right on the software requirements and that it is not malicous. But, not all laptops are 64. So yours could be 64 or 32.
But, I am betting on your description that it is 64.
