I just bought a Droid 2 Global and cannot transfer music to it using VCast Media Manager. The left side of the VCast Media Manager screen shows an icon that says Motorola and there is a compact disc picture next to it. When I drag a song over to the icon, it turns red but the song does not make the transfer to the phone. I have already set my phone to media storage mode. Any advice?

If your computer is a 64 bite system, as most laptops are, than Media Manager will not work, unfortunately. If it's a 34 bite system, it should work. Personally, I just connect my Droid to my laptop using the cord which comes with the droid and just pull the music files from the computer to the Droid. When you connect the Droid to the computer, the computer sees it as another drive.
