VZ Navigator Runs Even though I set Google Maps as the Default

First, I hate that I'm forced to keep apps on this phone I do not want.

- VZ Navigator

- Visual Voicemail

- Stocks

- Peep

Secondly, I set Google Maps as the default program when selecting an address from a contact. Google Maps loads, but then a widget sized VZ Navigator overlays it. I have to hit the back button to get rid of it and see only the Google Map.

Anyone else having this problem?

I would recommend clearing the default settings for VZ Navigator. To complete this step

-Select Menu

-Select Settings

-Select Applications

-Select Manage applications

-Select the All icon at the top

-Select VZ Navigator

-Select Clear defaults

***If this does not work, I would recommend force stopping the program (VZ Navigator) until the next time it is used. I have provided that step below:
