Verizon Tech Support - A nice experience

The other night I downloaded a network app from the market. To make a long story shorter, something went wrong and my phone lost all connection to the CDMA network. Nothing that I could do with features of the MENU > SETTINGS > WIRELESS & NETWORKS would reconnect me. The CDMA portion of my phone was unresponsive and grayed out. 😞
I reluctantly called Verizon Tech Support and explained the problem admitting that I had done something stupid with an app from Market, but I didn't know what. Help. The first level was very understanding and ran through their repertoire of solutions and was as stumped as I when nothing worked. He turned me over to level two and after a long series trouble shooting queries and recommendations my phone initialized and connected to the CDMA network. Yes, part of the solution included the dreaded factory reset.
Thank you Verizon Tech Support. Even after I admitted up front t that is was my careless stupidity that caused the problem they were courteous and caring.
