Verizon droid charge replacements with scratches on the screen

So my first droid charge was messing up so I got Verizon to order me another one. The first one had a scratch on the screen at the top left. So ordered me another, that one had scratches all over the screen. So I decided to say screw it and try to use the first replacement then I turned it on and bam a dead pixel right in the middle of the screen. So again I tried to ignore it but I'm sorry I can't. So I got upgraded to the charge from the Samsung Fascinate so I didn't buy it but they sent me a brand new charge. Its a shame it had problems because the screen was perfect. Is it just easy to scratch or something? Why is it such a problem to get a "like new" replacement. I just want the screen to look like its supposed to that's the main point of this phone is the nice screen. I thought this phone used gorilla glass am I wrong? My old phones Like the samsung fascinate, I've dropped it on its screen before and no scratches so idk. What would you guys do at this point technically my third charge?

Hi trigun123478,

I apologize for the scratch screen issues on your new and replacement devices. How long did you have your first Droid Charge before you had it replaced? The first Droid Charge being brand new normally should not have had any screen defects. Secondly, all Certified Like-New Replacements must past a 100 point quality inspection before being released. This includes no blemishes and defects are permitted on the front surface and screen being fully functional. The screen is used by tapping and moving fingertips over it. The screen can be easily scratched if handled improperly or an object is moved against it scraping along the surface. With being on your third Charge, please send me a private message with your information. I would be happy to review your account to resolve your concerns of the scratched screen on your Charge device.

it did have the protective film but when I pulled it off it had scratches on the screen on both phones. Yeah I'm not sure if it does have gorrilla glass. Samsung says it does when I did the online chat.So with the dead pixel I could get it switched again but like I said they were getting worse as far as screens go so I feel I will be forever screwed. Now i'm unhappy with my phone because of the dead pixel and scratch on the screen.

It's not "like new" if the screen is scratched. You should continue to insist that VZW provide a phone that is indistinguishable from a new one...to me that's "like new".

Good luck.
