I preordered an Iphone 4s via telephone thru Verizon *611 and the CSR opened up a WHOLE NEW account in my name WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT and failed to tell me what she did. (is that even legal?) I only caught it when I got the email notification that the phone was shipped. It had some strange phone number on it. Turns out that is the new number to the new account. I am not a stranger to phone ordering or account managing. I have been a customer for over 10 years and activate all my own phones myself. When I discovered what she had done, I was absolutely LIVID. It took an hour on the phone to get it straightened out and I STILL have to return the one I should get tomorrow, back to the Verizon store and wait for my credit card to get reimbursed the price of the phone. Also I had to paid for the NEW PHONE that is to be connected to my EXISTING account, and wait until October 28th for THAT one to ship. I am extremely upset with Verizon right now. The Charge they sent me in exchange for my third Thunderbolt, is as flaky but in different ways. Screen turning black after taking a photo. The only way to get it out of it is to yank the battery out. Sends texts to random people in my contact list, NOT the one I had listed in the send line. VERY laggy sometimes freezing between screens. Crappy internet browsing.. slow... doesn't maintain a network connection occasionally. Over it. That is why I am trying the Iphone. Over Androids.. About to be over Verizon if this doesn't go well.......
