Verizon, where are my additional languages for swype?
Why I'm limited to only English and Spanish?!
How to add more languages to my phone?

Because this is a phone released for use in North America and parts of Mexico.
Maybe you should check the skype website and see if they have additional language packs.

OK, swype supports a lot of different languages, including the one that I want, the problem is you can't just download them, or at least
I could find how, without rooting the phone. If you go to the market you will see that is impossible to find swype there, not to mention a language pack. I think it's only fair if Verizon offered as an update or app, or whatever on their app market.
And, BTW if you can fix the swype, that would fix the skype too.
galaxie500fb is the swiftkey x beta going to work with swype?

Thanks for the information crb79. After review of the skype application, I was able to locate two applications. We offer a Skype mobile and a Skype Mobile for VErizon. If you downloaded the Skype mobile for Verizon, you may be limited to only two languages. Skype mobile offers all languages. I recommend checking your application and if you have the skype version that only offers two languages, you can remove it and download the Skype Mobile version. I will list directions below.
You can also research information via the internet for Skype Translate Tool/software. While we do not support this tool and always recommend contacting Skype first, you can review further information via the internet.
To remove an application:
- From the home screen, select the applications tab (located at the bottom of the display).
- Select Settings.
- Select Applications.
- Select Manage applications.
- From the All tab, select an application.
- Select Uninstall.
- Select OK.
- Select OK.
To install applications from the Android Market:
- From the home screen, touch the applications tab (located at the bottom of the display).
- Touch Market.
If presented, review the Android Market Terms of Service then touch Accept to continue.
- Touch Apps.
- Touch a category (e.g. All applications, Comics, Communication, etc.).
- To sort the list, touch one of the following:
- Top paid
- Top free
- Just in
- Touch an application / widgetsuch as:
- Widgets
- CNN News
- Delivers up-to-the-minute news and information on the latest top stories, weather, and entertainment.
- Weather Bug
- Delivers live local weather conditions.
- Fox News
- Delivers the latest and breaking news.
- Applications
- Visual Voice Mail
- Allows subscribers to view caller and voice mail information and listen to voice mail messages in any order.
- Widgets
- If there is a charge for the application, touch Buy.
If the application is free, touch Install.
- Touch OK.
Review the alerts for access. If they are not acceptable touch Cancel.
- If applicable, ensure the desired card is selected then touch Buy now.
If a payment method has not been established, enter the credit card information then touch Save

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

SwiftKey Beta X is a separate replacement keyboard application and functions slightly different than the Swype keyboard.
Thank you for your answer, so far I really like swype, but I'm willing to try another keyboard.
