Very Strange! Phantom email yesterday

Several times yesterday I was alerted by my Droid that I had a new email. When I went to view this email it was blank except for a date of 12/31/1969. Very strange. I hit delete every time that  I received this. However, when I go to my deleted folder it shows as if there is an email in there to be deleted. However when I click on it there is nothing there.

 

Any thoughts on this?

Danny Motorola, the man who created Motorola has sent you an e-mail from the past in association with the White House -- testing if the new technology Electronic Mail actually works.

 

Send a test e-mail back to see if they send you cash from the past.

 

 

 

Actually, I suggest going to your actual e-mail to see if it's a picture message or ad or something, sometimes the Droid doesn't load pictures in e-mail.

Hey Supitsmike,

 

I have checked in my email and there is no message there. How do I get rid of the 1 that is marked by my trash folder? I have tried everything to get rid of it, but it still shows that there is 1 message in my trash folder.

To be honest, unless your calendar/time is off and you are recieving reminders...I wouldn't know. Unless it's a app that you signed up for that includes updates.

Thanks for trying. I am stumped by this. It bugs me because so far I have been so pleased with my Droid. I guess i shouldn't worry about it, as it doesn't seem to interefere with anything else. Just has me a little concerned. I am surprised that I can't reset the counter on the trash folder.
