Vibrate buttons and screen security with Droid Pro

I am not sure how similar Motorola Droids are, but I am assuming many of the device features are similar.

My Droid Pro vibrates for a split second every time I touch a button.  How do I turn this off? 

I also would like to turn off the screen security so that I do not need to slide the unlock slider every time I use the device.  How do I permanently unlock the screen?

That is called "HAPTIC FEEDBACK" and is an option in youe Settings / Keyboard  ... or whatever it is called on your DROID.  (this is the DROID X forum).
