I have done everything I can think of and my phone vibrates when I get a call instead of ringing. Yes, I have checked all of the obvious things - even let my 11 year old help me out. Anybody have any ideas?????
Did you happen to have the Smart Profile: Face Down setting turned on under the Sound & Display Settings and have used it at one point?
If you happend to use this feature there is a simple fix for it. Make sure you still have it turned on, have a friend or a family member call your phone (make sure your phone is on a flat surface, such as a table), while its ringing flip it face down (so that the screen is facing the table), wait about 2 seconds then flip it back over. It should then make 2 quick vibrates (during the vibrating it is already doing do to the in-comming call). Then ignore the call, or answer and hang up, have them re-call you and it should be ringing.
I had this same problem and this is what fixed it for me so I hope it helps.
I know this may sound **bleep**, but have you checked the volume level? Those volume keys on the side of the phone are real easy to push if you're holding your hand over them.
