Vibration Setting Question

I just made the switch from BB to the Charge. Is there a way to change the length and strength of the vibration in silent mode? Or am I just stuck with 1 long vibration for everything? Thanks!

Try using an SMS app like handcent to get custom vibration settings at least for your SMS and MMS. I haven't looked into this very far but I recall there might be these options with Handcent. I have been using Handcent because I think the stock texting app from Samsung is ugly and reminds me of Iphone.

Okay, so I downloaded handcent, but now I am getting double notifications from the Google Messenger and now this. I've gone through what I believe all the settings on the phone to try and disable the Google Messenger, but can't figure it out and can't uninstall because it's a Charge default.
