Video woes.

I downloaded an app for a local news station. Everything seems fine until I try to play videos from the site. Click on the video the player comes up but screen goes blank and times out. I looked for all kinds of settings but can't find anything .It didn't work with either 2.1 or 2..2  My daughter was over tonight with her LG Ally running 2.1 I clicked on the video and it ran with no problems. Any ideas I'm lost right now. YouTube and other videos run fine

If you have 2.2, you might have to download Flashplayer. A lot of videos rely on Flash to play. Just go to Market, and on the search bar type "Flashplayer." and download it. It's a free apps from Adobe. Hope this helps.

Downloaded and successfullly installed flashplayer 10.1 I sent a bug report to the tv station last night lets see how long it takes for them to respond

Try turning on WiFi at your house and see if you can stream it then ...  if so, it is likely you have too weak of a 3G signal to stream it ...

Nope sittng 3 ft from the router with an excellent wifi connection.

I think I found my problem. the videos won't play with certain wifi connections. I took the phone to a verizon store the other day  The tech said whats wrong with it it's playing fine.. I tried it again in the store and once again it played fine. Went to a local grocery store that had wifi. The DX hooked up to their wifi . I was showing the DX to a friend and tried to play the video, nope didn't play. I got home tried it again hooked to my wifi and nope again. I was out this morning and as I was waiting for a friend I tried to play the videos again. This time it was with a 3G connection and they played fine. We went to the firehall which had wifi, connected to that wifi and the videos played fine. when I got home hooked up to my wifi nope wouldn't play them. Turned off the wifi and connected 3G videos streamed perfectly. My wifi works for just about everything but the videos from this sight. Anyone know of a way or if there is a way to set the wifi settings to work. Stinks because this is the only gripe I have with the DX
