Videos to View on Droid X

I have been sent a couple videos from a friend who took them on an IPhone. I can see the video but I am not able to hear what is being said. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong I have turned up all volume and still no luck.

What am I missing I want to be able to hear what is being said in the videos.

Which Video APP are you using? It might be that the file type that the iPhone created is not supported by the APP you're using. Try the free MoboPlayer APP from market .... it seems to support a lot more file types.

I will download it off of the market. Is there anything special I need to do when I have the video sent to me VIA email?? if I open it to watch will it play automatically on Mobo Player and be able to hear the sound as well??

that's the point we're trying to find out - whether it is a file type issue (iPhone) or an APP issue.  When you click on the video after installing that new APP, you should get a pop-up asking you which Video player you wish to use -- select that new APP that you downloaded and see if it plays correctly ... if it DOES, when you click on a Video the next time, just click on the "ALWAYS USE THIS" selection tro make it your default Video player.

Ok I downloaded the app from the market. I opened the email and clicked on preview and it brought up the new app i downloaded and the video player, I chose the new app and it wont even play it. I can play it on the video player but there is no sound I can only see the video.

I know the video works when I open it on my laptop and play it off of media player it works and you can hear them talking to you
