Voice Calling

I have had my HTC Droid Incredible for a little more than a month. I also have had NO luck with voice calling, with the phone or my bluetooth. My bluetooth will allow me to take calls, and do everything else I was able to do with my older Alltel phone, except place calls. I contacted HTC and their answer was that the Incredible is not equipped for voice calling. I replied by asking why it is on the phone if the phone is not equipped for that function. However, I have not heard back from them. Needless to say, I did not get answers from Verizon either.

Can anyone help me?

Bluetooth Voicedial is not supported by Android 2.1 right now. The Froyo 2.2 update will solve this problem. It's update is sometime this year.

Will the Froyo 2.2 be an app that can be added, or will be added automatically, to the HTC Droid Incredible?

Also, my voice call does not work without my bluetooth either. Do you have any suggestions?

Froyo is an update to the operating system.

I suspect a link will be at the HTC site for us to download and update as you will need to backup info, pics and such prior to loading.

I use the Voice dialer app. It works great until Froyo comes out.

Thank you waitingfordinc so much! My only concern is/was having to look at my phone while I am driving. I also received an email from HTC stating that I may not receive the update for bluetooth calling. I was wondering if you may know anything about that.
