Voice mail BEFORE the phone call

This is bizarre, and I know you won't believe me, but I swear this happened this morning. At 7:37 this morning, I got notification of a voice mail. My phone had not rang. Two minutes later, at 7:39, I got a phone call...from the person who left me the voice mail! She insists she called only once, and the time stamps confirm this. (even more unusual is that the time stamp on the voice mail notification listing read "00:36"!) How in the world did I get the voice mail BEFORE the phone call??

Just an edit...the "00:36" is the time I used retrieving the voice mail....duh! However, I still can't understand how I got her voice mail before her phone call.
