Voicemail notifications

Hello I had to do a factory reboot about 3 weeks ago because my Charge always said I had a voicemail from 12/31/2004 and I didn't then it said the the weatherbug icon date was 12/31/2004 so i did the reboot and now I never get a notification that I have a voicemail unless I call I have no idea there was a message left can someone please help me.

port your voice mail over to google voice.  it works much better, gives you free visual voice mail, and you get e-mail notifications on missed calls, etc.

the downside is that you must have a data connection (wifi or mobile) to review voice messages.

We can help you get your notifications back so you won't have to periodically call it to double check whether or not you have a voice mail.
First, call your voicemail, enter the password and press #.
You should be able to press 4 for Personal Options
Press 1 for Message Waiting indicator.

I am having the exact same problem now too.  I have a voicemail from 2004 and I don't have the weather bug icon.  I am really starting to HATE this phone!
