WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN??

Okay so yesterday I left my phone plugged up to my computer an I took a little nap. :smileyvery-happy: I woke up for hours later, and the MOTO sign was showing. I did a battery pull, and I can't get past this boot screen. I called Verizon, and they said I need to come in and get my "software flashed". Could someone tell me what's going to happen to my Droid X, when will I get it back, and can they "Flash the software" at a authorized dealer?

I have no idea what they mean by :flash." However, I can tell you from experience, if you take it in, they usually do a factory reset. If they do that, the phone becomes brand new and you have to start all over. Of course, when they say "flash the software," it could be something else. If you do take it in, I suggest you ask them what is going to happen.

This should get you up and going, this is what the stoe will probally try..

Power Device Off First.....

1. Hold Home Button and press power

2. Screen will show a Android with a triangle with astrick

3. Let Go of Home Button and Power

4. Press Search Button (Far Left Button)

5. A blue menu will show at top of page, scroll to Format Device

6. Select Yes to verify

7. Allow format to complete (Information at bottom of page will go through a few steps)

8. Once Format is complete Blue Menu will show at top again, select Reboot

Note: Use volume up and down to select opinion and use camera button as Enter,,,
