I want to start this post by telling everyone I am relatively poor. However I like to have close to the newest thing out there when it comes to my phone. That is why I was saving and waiting for the Bionic to come out and dealing with my slowly dying Original Droid A855. My dog has decided to push my hand on this issue by dumping a polar pop full of mountain dew on my phone and killing it. I am now stuck with this issue....Do i spend $100 on a lesser phone on ebay to get me through until the Bionic comes out this summer...if it does...or do I use my upgrade now and go with the Thunderbolt or something else? What's everyones opinions I need help and a phone. Ideas?

My personal preferences for HTC aside, I would suggest doing some research on the phone before making that decision. There have been rumors of the Bionic possibly being pulled for something different and, by the time arrives for release, there will most certainly be rumors of newer, better phones soon to be released. I'm not trying to talk you out of buying the phone, it sounds like a beast, at least spec-wise. Just make sure that it fits all of your needs and don't get caught up in having to have the latest, greatest cause something better will always be just around the corner and, latest, greatest can also mean untested, not quite ready for prime-time. Something else to keep in mind, Android itself and most apps are currently not optimized for dual core processors (although Moto themselves have supposedly made some adjustments for that) and you may not get the full advantages of having a dual core phone for a while.

That is really not good enough. Verizon has dropped three junk phones with LTE so far, and the Bionic is no where to be seen. Verizion is not even putting out a date that we can expect it. Just "Coming in Summer". Wow. Thanks a lot! Honestly like most other users I live in an urban area and have good signal from all providers. I am going to jump ship to Sprint when the EVO #D drops is Verizion does not have a better 4g LTE phone in place before June 24th.

have you owned any of the devices? my LTE device works just fine. and if you're content with sprint's "4g" speeds (lucky if you get over 1 mbps), then why not just get a good verizon 3g phone? google sprint 4g speeds and see what they really are. my 3g incredible got 2mbps. the EVO has tested closer to 1. i'm all for getting the evo 3d if you want it for it's features.....but don't get it just because it's "4g" because it WILL be slower than your X.
