Weak Haptic Feedback

As the subject implies, I seem to be having an issue with my haptic feedback intensity. When I press home, menu, back, or search, or even type on the keyboard, there is hardly any feedback at all coming from the device. When I say hardly any, I mean you have to really be feeling for it in order to feel it. If I put my ear up to the phone while pressing any of the four buttons, the sound of the device making the feedback is pathetic. I'm coming from the OG Droid and I understand that this phone's haptic feedback may be less intense, but not so weak as to be undetectable. Anyone else having the same issue? I'll probably take the phone into the store within a few days, I got it two days ago. Thanks!

I find that the feedback is less on the D2 than on my previous D1.  I kid of like it better this way.

Thank you for the information provided. Casinbean, the device needs to be in "Multi-touch" mode. Try the steps below:

Go to:

Settings

Language and Keyboard

Multi-touch Keyboard

Vibrate on Keypress (green check)

If the issue persists, please contact us directly and we can assist you further.

Thank you,

Maybe you are in the wrong forum. There are no settings that you mention on the incredible 2. There are similar ones  . The OP said that the feedback is weak so he/she does have vibration when touching a key.  There is no setting to increase the feedback.

To the OP.  Perhaps you will find more relevant answers to cellphone problems  here
