Weather App - how to remove a city

I cannot figure out how to remove a city from the AccuWeather app that came on the phone. I have added cities but can't figure out how to remove London and New York, which I don't care about.  Any help?

Hi, LiveLarge. Arrow through the cities until the one you want to delete is showing. Press the menu key, then Delete, but then you also have to check the boxes of the ones you want to delete and press Delete again.
