When you open the Weather Channel apps, scroll down and you will see a menu. Click on "Local Map". This is the radar map that will show you the weather. It is animated, so you can see the weather move. I prefer Weather Bug apps. BTW, when they say "radar" they are not referring to what one normally pictures as a radar screen. No blips, no sweep line. Just a regular map with or without clouds.

Radar is easy to get to.
make sure that you showing the location that you want the radar for. If not, swipe left/right to get to the location.
then
the very bottom of the app is the menu. Swipe left/right until you see the Globe (Maps). Press it.
The radar will show for the location. You can pinch zoom closer or farther. You can move the maps around with press and move.
To see the moving radar, press the button at the bottom right of the map that has an arrow in it. It will take about a minute to load the moving radar images, so be patient.
Above the maps, below the ads, there is a text box to input another location for the map. This helps to move to another location without leaving the radar.
