Weird addition to ringtones

I don't know if this question has been asked already, but I was wondering if anyone else has had weird issues with ringtones with the Droid X.  When I have an incoming call my ringtone is interspersed with "Verizon Wireless".  It's super annoying!!!  Is there any way to get rid of that?  It does it with custom ringtones and the preloaded ones!  I hope someone can help me out!!  Thanks!!  😃

Try this: Settings>Sound & Display>Remove the check mark beside Roaming Tone

Thank you... this solved my issue... it was highly annoying since my phone did it and my husbands didn't... i figured something had gotten checked...

I had the same issue - just started happening for no reason (although I am sure somehow it was my fault).  I had to call Vverizon and the walked me through it.
