Hey this is my first smart phone, and i am getting the unlimited data package plan. I was just wondering what all i can do on this phone for "free" using the plan i currently have.

unlimited texts
700 minutes.
also was wondering if there are any really cool apps i should get. Thanks for the Help!!
Virtually anyting you want. You can go to the Android Market and download apps (free ones or ones that cost). The one's that cost you will ask for CC payment before you download it, it won't just add that charge to your bill (I found that out not too long ago).
Apps I'd recommend are Lookout (antivirus), Advanced Task Killer (use this app each time you're finished fiddling with your phone to preserve your phone's battery life). Other than, get what you want and will use. This is my 1st smartphone too and I rarely use my computer to get on the internet anymore. I only use my laptop nowadays if I'm reading a lengthy webpage, researching, or to play an online game of some sort.
It appears I have the same plan as you do.
I personally don't see a need for antivirus on a smart phone, at least not yet anyway. Most people advise against using any type of a tasks killer. It seems to do more harm than good. You can google it and see many reasons for not using one.
