What happened to Beautiful Widgets?

I purchased Beautiful Widgets to get the same clock and weather format as HTC and ever since I downloaded the most recent update it has changed the entire widget. The clock doesn't look like a calendar anymore.....it's ugly. If anyone is using this app can you tell me how I can get it to look the old way or if there is another app I can download? Thanks

Search Beautiful Widgets and you will find a post about a cease and desist order from HTC.

I posted about this just yesterday or the day before I think.

And, the widget isn't ugly -- It's just as nice.

No offense, but the developer plainly stated on the update page that it would "definitely" change the design and "If you don't want, don't update, you've been warned!". Not to mention the screen shots on the page. The developer had to change the design or suffer the wrath of HTC.

You should be able to uninstall the update, I think. I don't remember the steps but I read about some one uninstalling an update here;

try searching for uninstall update. I remember it was in a google map thread or navigate one,I think.

I actually perfer the update. Since the update it's worked fine. Before then sometimes it wouldn't have the main big icon (sun/moon) when you brought up the 3-day forcast.
