Got the phone recently and surprisingly like of the size and the performance. However, the Android version is still 4.4.4 in 2016 and the latest one is 6.0.1. When does the update come?

Moto states, "This device will be upgraded to the Android 5 Lollipop release of Android, pending partner support."
However, I would not count on that release, given its age, and the fact that it is way behind and even if Moto has it ready, verizon hasn't signed off on it yet.
