I can not find the update for my droid x. I have followed the directions for updating. The update phone icon in setting is not active. I have tried with Wifi and 3 G. Am i missing something?
Go to Menu--> Settings--> About phone--> System updates.
Click on system updates and the update should pop up. When it does, click download and it will start to download, it took my phone about 30 minutes to fully update so give it time, don't click anything while it is loading, it may seem frozen or like it isn't doing anything but it is.
Also, don't connect to WiFi to update, you must be connect to 3G to update. Let me know if it works.
Have tried that several times but the system update icon is not active, nothing happens when I push the button, all other buttons are illiminated but that one.
Hmm! I may not have rolled out to your phone yet. I would give it another day or two and just keep checking back to see if you have it or not. I didn't get it until late yesterday afternoon
Will do.... was wondering if it gets pushed to some people sooner than others.
