Where do gmail attachments go when downloaded?

i detached a jpg picture and set it as my wallpaper.  where is it located?

Your SD card.  That's where pretty much anything downloaded goes.

You can access that from your computer, too, by plugging the Droid into the computer, and when you see the little USB icon appear in the notification area, tap the notification.  That will let you 'mount' the Droid's SD card in your computer (effectively making the SD card appear on your machine as a drive).  When you're done, you eject the Droid from your computer, and then go back to the notification area and tap the USB notification again, to unmount (stop sharing the Droid's SD card to the computer).  At that point, your Droid will re-mount the card and work normally again.

thanks i figured that...any type of 3rd party file manager app that i can install to access the pictures from the phone.  I cant see them and if i want to set one as wallpaper i have no way doing that.  they dont show up in wallpaper or pictures....
