Why do I have duplicate gallery folders?

I have added photos to my Droid from the PC.  No problems there, but when I look at the phone's gallery, all of the folders are in there at least 3 times.  Not "camera", "media" Etc.  but the actual folders that I added from the PC.  For example, one of them is named "Work Pics" and I have no less than 3 "work pics" folders in the gallery.  What did I do?

Maybe you're copying the entire folder instead of just the contents of the folder.

What most likely happened is that you copied the folder multiple times by accident. Look on your SD card for folders  named Pictures Pictures(1) Pictures (2) delete the last two.
