This morning I was at work, had a break and was playing with my phone. I noticed that I had an update for Facebook so I clicked on it to update. While it was trying to update it said that I needed Wifi due to the file size... I couldn't update it until I got home where I have wifi since we do not have it at work. Is this because of the 4G network and maybe by my work we don't have 4G? Or is there something else I might be missing? This happened to me yesterday when I put the wrong password in my phone for our wifi connection at home, when I put in the right password everything downloaded fine.

No, I didn't notice another option. I couldn't even stop the download either...

I have seen that when donwloading files for games because it can be 500mb or higher and on 3g that would take forever... Also a number of Apps have not configured for 4g connection and still will prompt for wifi but usually some will still allow you to download on phone data but not all.

Had same problem. Go into settings then battery. Unselect data saver mode. That is what is causing it to need wifi to download.
