When you say "right away" how long are we talking about? Seconds, minutes, hours?
What messaging application are you using (i.e. handscent, the default one)?
I've had some cases where my coverage isn't very good and it takes some time for a message to go through, but I usually get a "error" message within a few minutes if it doesn't go.

like sometimes it takes 20 mins for it to go throughm then sometimes hours and then most of the time the texts just dont go through at all and using the regular one amp for text messaging.

I'd start by updating roaming. To do this dial *228 and select option 2.
If that doesn't help (and I really don't expect it will) then restoring factory defaults is probably the next step.

I just received mine and have had that same problem when I reply to a Facebook string. It says it sent it but it never actually posts.

To fix your problem I would suggest deleting then re-adding the account. The steps to do this are listed below:
- Menu
- Settings
- Accounts
- Click on the Account
- Then Remove account
- Go to Menu
- Settings
- Accounts
- Menu
- Add Account
- Choose what kind of account and enter your information

You know that's all fine and good.. but to remove the account you have to reset the phone to factory settings, unless you make yourself a whole new account which is a huge hassle that shouldn't be an issue. Why should consumers constantly have to reset their phone?

You don't have to reset your phone to remove / add back your facebook account? You only have to follow the steps provided.
