I can run Wifi fine but when I leave my house and the network I cannot get to the 3g(we have no 4g yet)network to come on unless I manually turn off WiFi and then I have to select the option just for CDMA before it will pickup even the 3g is this the Norm for this phone?  If so you better get it fixed, because it sucks to have to go through this every single time I leave my house.  Any help on this please let me know how to get this fixed....

Thank you in advance,

Doug

Also as for the wiring, if you are not using it you should also disable because it uses power looking for a wiring network and as long as it searching the 3g or 4g wont kick in... There is loose wiring signals around you all the time and if the phone detects them they will want to connect to them.

So to answer question... Yes this is normal.. Turn of 4g like previous post reported and disable wifi when not using is a good patteren to save battery life.

Having the phone in CDMA mode only is a plus. It'd going to help conserve the battery by not having the 4G radio turned on and looking for a signal to latch on to,
