I been having a problem with my phone and I am not sure if its a known issue or just my phone. When browsing web pages or the market, pretty much anything for data, it will drop either wifi or verizon network and sometimes both completely and give me an error saying I have no connection. If I wait a second then wifi will come back or if I am not using wifi just the verizon network do this also. I did the 228 thing and it didn't help, did a factory reset, and batery pull and it still does this. It doesn't seem to matter if I use wifi or the cell netowrk for data both just drop out with 3/4 or less signal. As far as I know it hasn't affected calls but most of the time my phone shows no network signal when my wife's droid right next to it shows 3/4 full. So do I have a bad phone or is it just an issue with the incredible?

Why is my htc thunderbolt forcing close my programs and then I cant bring them back up with a message" network failed try again later" and guess what I try again later and it says the same thing network failed or no connection. I pay 180 a month for two phones if this keeps up I am going to straight talk from walmart I can get pretty much the same thing for 90 a month for two phones. Two of my friends already canceled verizon and went to straight talk. Verizon better fix their problems or they will lose even more customers

Hello flyinhawaiian. That sounds quite frustrating to me. Allow me to assist you with your Thunderbolt. It seems that this issue can be caused by a corrupted application. I would recommend for you to enable safe mode to see if this issue persists. Go to http://support.verizonwireless.com/clc/devices/knowledge_base.html?id=40136 to view instructions on how to enable safe mode. Let us know if the issue persists.
Thank you,
Lena A.
