Hello,
I am trying to download pictures from my Droid 2 to my computer. I have the USB cable connected, I can see the drive and navigate to the DCIM folder. I can see pictures and even change the names, but when ever I try to copy a picture to a folder on my hard drive, it gives me a Windows Explorer error and closes all the windows. I can copy the picture and add to an Windows Outlook email, just not a folder. Any thoughts?
Also, when looking at V-Cast application, the system does not recognize my phone. It shows Motorola in the Node area to the left, but the icon is a CD, not a phone. When I try to "get pictures from camera or phone" is says there are 0 pictures.
Thanks for any help!

Sounds like you may be accessing the virtual drive instead of the sd card, when you plug device into computer the device will create two drives, a cd rom and a storage device... The CD ROM is a virtual drive that stores the drivers and MotoConnet app that auto runs when device is plugged in and the other drive id the actual sd card. Make sure you are accessing the last drive letter on the list because this is the sd card.
Also it is wise to copy the files and not remove the folder because the phone uses this as a default folder and can cause issues some time.
Also you do realize you posted in the wrong thread,, this is a Droid X area not a Droid 2, know they are simular but the best way to make sure you get the correct answer you should ask the individuals that are using the same device.... Thought I would let you know.
