What do I need to do in order to have Windows media player play on my droid?

Seriously though, there is no Windows Media player for Android. I have not done much with videos on my Droid yet, so I'm far from an expert, but it seems that this is one area where the Droid is lacking. I think I read somewhere that a future update was supposed to add Xvid support, but I'm not sure.
How about any media player?
