It is clear to me that HTC and Verizon are not making enough effort to fix problems. Some problems are so well known, e.g. the clock/alarm clock problem and the battery not charging problem. I am a software developer myself and honestly I would be embarrassed if I can't fix a missing clock/alarm clock for more than two months! Posting on the forum is helpful when you have minor issues or don't know how to do certain things, but some of these problems are beyond the forum. I found it's pethetic that every time someone has a problem VZW rep. would suggest you to do a factory reset. Some problems are software bugs that can't be resolved by reset. So I think we should write to HTC directly if a problem appears to be a genuine software bug. The company where I work we take customer problem tickets pretty seriously. I am not sure how HTC handles it but we should at least try to let them know there is a problem. Here is the link: http://www.htc.com/us/support/e-mail

As a developer also I realize that HTC is working on fixing updates for a number of devices so their plate isnt empty at this time.... I see your point also but things happen and lately their has been a number of things tossed up, not to forget the latest security issue that they are working on resolving..
Like the old saying "What can go wrong will" and I believe this at times..
