Wrong Profile Name

I just got my phone tonight and transferred all my contacts through the backup assistant. For some reason, they have my profile number and email information under the name "Melba"...and I'm definitely not a Melba. I've tried to delete it, change the name, change the name through the backup assistant online and re-sync, reset the entire phone and I can't get rid of the name.

It's suppose to be a new phone so I have no clue what do do!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We would need additional information as to what you mean about a profile number with email address information. The Back up Assistant works based on your phone number when backing up your contact information. Is the name your seeing as a contact?Where are you seeing the incorrect name? If you want to try unregistered and re registering your information under the Back Up Assistant, it could help with your using the name desired as it relates to your mobile number to try and remove a wrong name.
