What has been your success with the mobile hot spot feature of the Droid X? We are going out of town next year, & most of the hotels we are looking at are going to charge us $10 per day for internet use. I'm considering just using my phone, for $20 for the whole month. Are you satisfied with the speed using the "X"? Anythng else I should be concerned about?

I agree and with the 2 gig data cap you may find yourself paying more in the end... Using the phone as a modem eats data pretty fast..
