I have a couple things going on with my dinc 2 that i just can't figure out how to fix/change. 1st off when my phone rings it announces who it is that is calling. How can i turn that off, everyone has their own ringtone so i dont need names announced. 2nd I always turn my volume all the way up, but somehow the volume turns all the way down on its own. Whats that all about and how can i fix it. 3rd when certain people email me and i try to open it on my phone, a message come up and reads message still on server, and the message won't come up. that only happens with certain people, not everyone. also is it possible to have different pics on the 6 different screens, if so how?

I would be glad to assist with the incredible. The caller id readout is normally from an application downloaded on the device or a Bluetooth Setting. If you can't find the application that is causing this issue, I would recommend backing up your device and hard resetting. This application may also effect volume issue. You can check to make sure quiet ring on pickup is turned off by Menu>Setting>sound then you can choose volume or uncheck quiet ring on pickup. As to the wallpaper question there are applications that allow you to have frames as wallpapers but the stock device only allows one wallpaper.

I don't have the readout problem. An old phone of mine did that and I actually kinda liked it. But I do have the problem with the ring tone being turned down even though I've cranked it up. I think it's got a mode where if you flip it over it lowers the volume automatically. Maybe that's affecting it? I don't think the volume is application-related as I've had that same problem (and did before adding any apps at the beginning).
