it has been stated by motorola (somewhere in this forum) that the droid does not need a screen protector.

Verizon sells a shell/holster combo which i use $30. i can use it just as the shell (similar to the body glove but the back comes of easier if you want to put it on a car dock) or slide the shell into the holster backwards to carry it around.
