app problem

I'm new to the app world.  I've downloaded apps from the droid market.  They are installed.  How do I open them and get them to my main home screens?

To open, go back to your app drawer, where all your others are stored. To add it to a home screen, hold your finger on an open area of your screen until a menu pops up, then select App and choose the one you want. Some apps also offer widgets...long-press, then choose Widget and see if there is one associated with that app.

SydneyK is correct.  Just to add to one part of SydneyK's response there are multiple ways to add apps to your homepage.  If you still need assistance I will provide another way as well.  First you navigate to which ever homescreen you want the app to appear and from that screen press your app menu button that brings up all of your apps and then press and hold on the desired app and it will then automatically take you to the home screen to add.  You can move the app to the desired area on that particular home screen from there.  I hope this helps you.
