auto shutdown app?

I upgraded from a blackberry curve to an incredible.  I miss having the autoshutdown timer where I could have phone turn off at a certain time and power up at a certain time.  This would be great on saving battery life, is there an app that exists for this?  Could not find one as I browsed through appbrain.  Anyone?!

I was not able to find an app. However you always consider making an app like that yourself

That's probably the only Blackberry feature I miss. I use an app called "Timeriffic" that can control (among other things) Airplane Mode. I live in a weak signal area and it seems that searching for a signal uses a lot of battery power. I use Timeriffic to place the phone in Airplane Mode overnight. I guess the downside is no phone calls, but it's not a problem for me. I originally used it to quiet all the notifications overnight automatically. Good luck!

In lieu of a timer app that shuts down the phone to preserve battery life, you may get similar results by turning off the mobile network connection, as well as turning off bluetooth and wifi. I also use Advanced Task Killer Free app to end any apps running in the background that I don't need which also run down your battery.
