Your sooo right ! I tend to overlook that nugget of progress. Maybe we'll have to tether to our car batteries, lol because I'm on a constant re-charge.

It may, but it is a pain to get it replaced and expensive.

agreed. if you don't want to mess with buying a "kit" online and trying to take the phone apart, then you are stuck taking it to an apple store and paying a pretty penny to replace it. however, most people i know can still get a couple days off of a charge with their ip3g that's over a year old. i only know a couple peeps that actually ever had to replace the battery (and one of them had a 2 1/2 year old iphone....which now days, nobody keeps their device for that long). i just want to know why, if apple can do, droids can't??? do they use different technology? different type of battery? or now that the ip4 has sort of caught up with android capabilities, will it have battery issues too? i've seen that it supposedly gets up to 10 hours of use on a charge??? i get 3-4 hours of use. even if apple is exagerating a bit, i'm guessing it get's twice the life of the new androids. i've never had to replace a battery in a phone before...until i got the inc. and i didn't really have to replace it...i just keep 2 spares so i can replce them without having to plug it in to something.
